A timeline the mysterious and sinister events that have been happening here at SentryOutpost.com


[edit] BA Saint Feline and the Chorazos Hacking Ring

  • December 20, 2008 Rowan returns home, Johnny posts his brief overview of events on the Outpost. Art then updates his website with a new threat: A video from Spukhafte Fernwirkung of Chorazos. It is a message to the Cult to essentially take out Exu and his followers, but bring back their bodies intact. Speculation runs rampant on the video and on Exu’s letter.
  • December 19, 2008 Rowan, Johnny, Cathy and Rose meet up with Art, BA, Bryce, and one other man in Central Park. Sploit posts a drawing of the Dreamscape’s Wall, which has many symbols on it. One of these leads to a conference call number and access code, which all the Networked Sentries use to collaborate. Meanwhile, the Field Sentries in NYC traipse around on a treasure hunt, doing odd tasks and finding clues that must be combined with clues from the Networked Sentries’ view of the Wall to find the next target location for the Field Sentries to go to. BA’s weakness to technology makes cellphone calls discouraged. Ultimately the Field Sentries finally arrive at the Cloister, where one Sentry must sacrifice himself to return the Cylinder to the Dreamscape. Bryce valiantly chooses to do that, and disappears into the Cloister with the “Gatekeeper.” After turning over the Cylinder, Art high-tails it out of there, and his Forsythe buddy leaves with him. BA, Rowan, Johnny, and Cathy head to the subway, where they run into Exu aka Jakub U. He talks to them briefly before handing over a letter that must be delivered to Spukhafte Fernwirkung at Druid’s bar. The letter is from one “Anwell Barierascu” and is very strange and threatening. The Sentries copy it down and deliver it to Spukhafte’s proxy: The Sculptor!
  • December 18, 2008 BA calls into NightmareConfessions. Sploit posts on his blog about the Art adventure tomorrow at 10. Another Dreamer calls into NightmareConfessions ranting about whoever has written all over the wall. Dr. Riley posts her final message from Signals, announcing the podcast’s cancellation.
  • December 17, 2008 Endercoaster receives an email from Peter about the cylinder. Art updates /fallout/ with a new page: ToArt.
  • December 16, 2008 Art updates /fallout/ with a new page: an investigation on some threatening messages he got via fortune cookies. Riley posts that Lillian is in NYC making recordings for Thursday’s podcast (it’s about the NYC points). Popetattles #8 goes online. He has new George Compton drawings, along with a study on Art’s threats and the Atlanta Marie drop. Dav exchanges emails with Dr. Riley. The Sentries begin organizing for the NYC event on Friday.
  • December 15, 2008 People post rough accounts of the NYC events.
  • December 14, 2008 Sploit posts the story of his Temple Mission on his blog in 5 posts. Then Sentry Outpost goes down. For most of the day.
  • December 13, 2008 Bridget calls into NightmareConfessions a few times to drop updates on her position. Sploit decides not to meet her because he’s pissed off at her. Rose, Johnny the Hack, and Ravenwolf meet with Bridget. Around 7:30, Raven calls NightmareConfessions with his phone number. Dav calls and chats with Bridget.
  • December 12, 2008 Peter replies to UnknownWarrior33, Biff, Transtar, and Endercoaster. We discuss the Dead Drops, the Marie drop, and the NYC events. Bridget uses a phone for the first time as she calls into Nightmare Confessions to let Sploit know that she’s coming to NYC tomorrow.
  • December 11, 2008 Eddie updates his “breaking news” section with a video of the Tarot Killer at the drop location. Bseeingu updates with a new conversation with the drummer, and a new image—a train labeled “NYC.” Looks like BA will be in NYC on Saturday. We discuss the Bseeingu changes and the impending arrival of BA to New York. We debate about Forsythe and Transtar makes the I point pickup. BA sends a message of “Elftrytub.” Forsythe sends emails to several Sentries with details regarding the Security Summit on the 19th. Discussion abounds on the NYC visits, as precursory plans are devised.
  • December 10, 2008 We discuss the BA update and Eddie’s most recent issue. Sploit updates his blog—they found the Temple, but the Ritual isn’t working. We receive another update from elftrytub and discover that 8 of us must whistle, while 8 Dreamers whistle/do the “hoo” ritual. We do it at 10 EST. It works. BA’s site updates as she gets into the temple—but Sploit is thrust awake, so we don’t know fully what happened. Art updates fallout again with ToMarie for our final deaddrop.
  • December 9, 2008 Bridget updates her site again, with a new hieroglyph-like image and audio. Two more voicemails go online at nightmareconfessions. Sploit seems to be in trouble. Pope Tattles #7 goes online: An interview with Dr. Riley, speculation that Art is a co-conspirator, and discussion of Wolfhawk’s pickup. More voicemails go online and Sploit posts on his blog what happened last night. Bridget also updates her website again with another audio—this time it’s a conversation between her and the drummer. Sploit posts again with a new updated map. Finally, a third audio goes onto BA’s site, in which she is banging on a door and cats are yowling.
  • December 8, 2008 Dav emails Riley about Lillian and possibly Transtar visiting point “I.” More nightmares are posted on nightmareconfessions. Rose leads speculation. Sploit posts on his blog about the rocky slabs and the beasts in the forest.
  • December 7, 2008 Speculation continues on the most recent Stu pickup. Dr. Riley posts on her site that Lillian is returning to the I point for next Thursday’s ‘cast.
  • December 6, 2008 Wolfhawk swings by the mounds and makes the Stu pickup! Speculation continues on the pickup and Dante and Biff exchange emails with Riley.
  • December 5, 2008 Biff and Dav exchange emails with Elizabeth Riley. Speculation and planning continues for tomorrow’s pickup.
  • December 4, 2008 Art’s website directory “fallout” updates with a new tribute: ToStu. The artifacts are located at Riley’s point “H.” Sploit posts on his blog—he finally got a lot of sleep! Riley posts a placeholder for her next podcast, but Lilliana is recording something from “H” point and it is being worked into the podcast.
  • December 3, 2008 Dante trades emails with Elizabeth Riley, but gets nothing useful.
  • December 2, 2008 We discuss Sploit’s call to Nightmare Confessions the day prior. We also discuss the possibility of Riley being bound by the Edict, and Jen’s checkbook. Sploit posts a rough map of the Dreamscape and also analyzes Map/Obtusivity’s maps. Popetattles Issue #6 goes online. Eddie has followed the Tarot Killer to Indiana, where the Killer began to go to Mounds State Park, but was chased off by a frightened child. He has also begun listening to Betty Riley’s podcast, Signals. He speculates on the Tarot Killer and discusses the “treasure hunting” taking place at the burial mounds.
  • December 1, 2008 Sentries hound after Eddie’s request to interview Chixor. Mapmaker analyzes Jen’s checkbook and discussion commences.
  • November 30, 2008 Mapmaker exchanges emails with Elizabeth Riley. Riley then posts the interview of Mrs. Compton (R point resident) by Lillian. Speculation begins on the interview.
  • November 29, 2008 Eddie posts at the Outpost requesting an interview with Chixor. Enaxor and Wolfhawk trade emails with Dr. Riley. Speculation continues on the three pickups.
  • November 28, 2008 We speculate a lot on the three pickups, and Dav brings up the Forsythe Security Summit in December. Dav emails Eddie about Forsythe.
  • November 27, 2008 Happy thanksgiving everyone! Chixor returns to make the Mounds State Park pickup, but all she can find is a letterbox from a geocaching group. After a break Chixor returns for one final investigation. While she’s exploring, Elizabeth Riley updates her site with directions to the Sound Stump—and the directions result in Chixor finding the box! That night, Riley posts her Thanksgiving edition of Signals, in which she raises many chilling concepts and interviews Sound Scout Lillian.
  • November 26, 2008 Sploit posts again on his blog! Also a new part of Fallout is posted: tojennifer.html and its accompanying picture r.jpg. Within moments we have it located to Mounds State Park in Indiana, and Chixor heads off to investigate. Unfortunately, as she goes after dark, she is unable to find anything.
  • November 25, 2008 Eddie’s fifth issue goes online. Speculation continues regarding Elftrytub and BA. Eddie has recently interviewed Dr. Gateson at Pickman Asylum, and investigated the Tarot Killer’s movement to NC, likely to go to the site where Biff checked out the Indian mound. Eddie also shows an interest in Forsythe in this issue.
  • November 24, 2008 Elftrytub updates with a new message: “WILL YOU HELP SHIELD THE DREAMERS SENTRIES” followed by an anagram for “butterfly effect.” Conversation continues on the Indian mound pickup #2, while Biff and Dante trade emails with Dr. Riley. Eddie explains how he learned about the Tarot Killer, though his explanation is incredibly vague and shallow.
  • November 23, 2008 Mapmaker continues emailing Riley. Biff swings by the Town Creek Indian Mound and retrieves the ToAlan artifacts there.
  • November 22, 2008 Enaxor, Obtusivity, and Mapmaker receive emails from Elizabeth Riley.
  • November 21, 2008 We discuss Signals episode 4 and the most recent batch of nightmares (including one from Dee!) Eddie joins the forum! We also discuss Art’s messages to Howard and Eddie asks about information regarding the Tarot Killer’s decision to go to the Etowah Indian Mounds.
  • November 20, 2008 Biff says he’ll go investigate the North Carolina Indian mound, point D, on the weekend. Speculation continues on Bryce. Signals episode 4 is released.
  • November 19, 2008 Fallout updates again. It gets solved within 2 hours by Rowan and Sapagoo. We now have directions to the Town Creek Indian Mound in North Carolina, which is point D on Riley’s map.
  • November 18, 2008 Transtar emails Peter and gets a brief reply. Speculation continues on Art’s CLs. BA’s twitter, Elftrytub, updates with a code for the word “Dreamer.” Discussion on the “Peter Problem” resumes. Eddie’s fourth issue goes online. In short, he apologizes for getting Kevin wrong, discusses Sentry Outpost (pointed there by Dav), discusses some files on Peter that no one pointed him to, and followed the “Tarot Killer” to Atlanta, where the killer tried to get the artifacts that Transtar collected. Finally, a second word shows up encoded on elftrytub: “Careful.” However the most important thing follows “Careful:” a word written normally, that had already been discovered. It was “sacho,” which is an anagram for “chaos.”
  • November 17, 2008 Dav and Eddie continue exchanging emails. Discussion continues on the artifacts Transtar discovered. Jjason spots a series of Craigslists from Art looking for Howard.
  • November 16, 2008 Speculation continues on Riley’s “Signals” podcast. Dav exchanges emails with Eddie. Transtar visits the burial mounds discovered on the tokevin.html page and finds three artifacts.
  • November 15, 2008 Speculation continues on Art’s Website updates and the Riley’s Signals maps. Dav Flamerock hears from Eddie Pope.
  • November 14, 2008 “Signals” episode 3 is released overnight. Consultant Bunker is updated with three more links—one of them leads to a new website through some extrapolating: PopeTattles.com. PopeTattles is the website of Eddie Pope, a freelance journalist who has been tracking a certain man he is calling the “Tarot Killer,” a serial killer who has killed five people already, leaving behind much blood and bird parts. Pope, apparently a world-renound journalist specializing on the occult, believes that Kevin Cosby is the Tarot Killer and that he is working with the Chorazos Cult. The other two updates on Consultant Bunker lead to a page titled “tokevin.html” which has a series of pictures and a short message to Kevin. The picture names and the pictures themselves tell the message: donotenter gate, stayoutside fence, standhere green box, lookacross road, and underhere bushes. Combined with a picture labeled “I.jpg” and a picture of a black box in bushes, the Sentries have deduced that there is something hidden at a burial mound in Georgia. Then Catherwood discovers that Bryce Droher PMed her—saying only that “Dedi says I can save them.”
  • November 13, 2008 Speculation continues on the nightmares and Art. Rose also finds a new website: RileysSignals.com, which is the website of Professor Elizabeth Riley, who has a new podcast regarding sounds. In Episodes 1 and 2, Riley discusses the possibility that sound can heal or hurt and the idea that sound can create order and chaos.
  • November 12, 2008 Speculation continues on the website changes, the nightmares, and Peter. In addition, Mapmaker and Catherwood discover that Arthur Lydney has updated his website with a few secret files. One is a message to the Sentries, explaining what he’s been up to this past year. Another is a picture of a file folder labeled “Riley Signals.” The last two are maps with points labeled with letters. Dante points out that all the letters are near Indian Burial Mounds.
  • November 11, 2008 Speculation continues on the website changes.
  • November 10, 2008 Speculation continues on the website changes. Two more confessions went up over the past few days—the Dreamers found B.A. but she has been acting very strangely.
  • November 9, 2008 Speculation continues on the website changes and the nightmares.
  • November 8, 2008 B.A.’s website is once again updated. This time, however, the new update is blatantly hostile, and having heard reports about B.A. acting differently in the Dreamscape via nightmareconfessions, Catherwood makes the connection between “chrysalis.cgi” and her twitter account, “elftrytub” (an anagram of butterfly) to mean that some major transformation has occurred in BA. We decode her twitter, but we don’t know the meaning of her message.
  • November 7, 2008 Three new calls are posted to Nightmare Confessions—and in one of them, the caller sees B.A.! Nevertheless, the Dreamscape doesn’t look good. Meanwhile we continue to discuss Art and Peter.
  • November 6, 2008 More theorizing happens RE: bseeingu.com changes/nightmareconfessions/Peter’s Response. MLM’s Safeget System is discovered to be down.
  • November 5, 2008 Endercoaster emails Peter Severn in an attempt to learn more from him. The response email is unnecessarily snarky. More theorizing happens RE: bseeingu.com and nightmareconfessions.
  • November 2, 2008 Providence Radio goes live once more this morning… but other than that nothing really happens.
  • November 1, 2008 11 recordings from Nightmare Confessions are posted on the website. Probably half of them are certainly from Dreamers—one of them is from Catherein and she mentions Max by name.
  • October 31, 2008 BA updates her website, this time with much more stability—it is no longer changing randomly, and has a certain aesthetic quality about it that makes it clearly a conscious creation. A couple hours later, the site changes, with what appears to be some other person making conversation with BA. Theories go out that it’s Exu—as there is a drumming music track that plays in the background now. Sploit also updates his blog, explaining a new website he created—NightmareConfessions.com.
  • October 25, 2008 Wolfhawk finds a couple more text phrases.
  • October 23, 2008 More Craigslists are put up, this time with the theme of the Drummer. Also more text snippets are added to the site.
  • October 22, 2008 A new mp3 is added to the site: hesavedme.mp3. It is a replica of rhythm.mp3 which went up onto the site after the Scream. More Craigslists are discovered and noted.
  • October 21, 2008 Wolfhawk speculates that today’s “Craigslist theme” could be taking action vs. not being able to. Mapmaker discovers that three .mp3s have been added to the website. Endercoaster transcribes them.
  • October 20, 2008 Wolfhawk writes down all the possibilities for a screen load at bseeingu.com. There are error messages/blank screens, a Craigslist post, or a message from B.A.—the most prominent being “feel the cosmic forces.”
  • October 18, 2008 The Harrisonburg Craigslist posts are replaced with posts that mention Providence.
  • October 16, 2008 Harrisonburg Craigslist posts are added to the mixture of possible refresh screens. A new Chrysalis file is added—this one appears to be a text log of the .cgi program.
  • October 15, 2008 Sploit posts on his blog once again. He is somewhat enigmatic but seems to be humorously commenting on The Feast and The Scream, which will occur this year on Halloween.
  • October 14, 2008 The errors of bseeingu.com change from numbered errors to fragments of messages. They seem to be from the mind of B.A. The messages change each time you refresh, switching through many fragmented messages.
  • September 25, 2008 The errors switch back to 500s.
  • September 24, 2008 Sapagoo logs the change in errors. It switches back to 500s and then to 400s again.
  • September 21, 2008 Catherwood discovers that 500 errors result in errors on the server end. Catherwood later realizes that now the Chrysalis is giving her 400-level errors.
  • September 20, 2008 Mapmaker starts getting errors. He finds the error directory on the site, which leads to chrysalis.cgi. Chrysalis creates 500-level errors, whereas the pictures create 400-level errors.
  • September 19, 2008 Warped pictures are appearing on B.A.’s site. Each refresh brings a new picture.
  • February 20, 2008 The red moon comes and goes. Job 3 still not solved.
  • February 11, 2008 We find yet more puzzles by Chorazos—this time, having solved the first two Jobs, we are given a task to a) create our own code and b) find the hidden key in the article given to Johnny in order to crack Job 3. The article must be arranged so that columns (of characters) 1, 13, and 22 are placed adjacent.
  • February 8, 2008 We decode the first of two Job puzzles through an intricate tarot cipher and a hidden password located in the book Johnny the Hack received—Sharp Teeth. We move on to the second Job puzzle.
  • February 7, 2008 Somehow, without having given anyone her password, Catherwood receives a reply in her login with a cryptic message.
  • February 6, 2008 We discover a site made by Chorazos: multilevelmayhem.com. We also discover that Forsythe wasn’t in fact responsible for DC’s kidnapping—it was a military organization. Later that day we also discover the subdomain we need: safeget.multilevelmayhem.com. Progress continues on finding Chorazos’ message.
  • February 5, 2008 We receive an email from DC to the Providence account. He has received more orders from the Sculptor—apparently the Sculptor liked Johnny and has given us a way of contacting him… but it’s coded hopelessly deep. We begin the long haul of figuring out what his codes and strange phrases mean.
  • February 4, 2008 Nothing really happens, except that we bicker among ourselves regarding how we should deal with Peter.
  • February 3, 2008 October posts the rest of her pictures from the Austin meeting—two more satellite photos that reinforce the first two. A city definitely appeared on the 31st.
  • February 2, 2008 We continue emails with Peter, who refuses to share the information he promised, saying that we hadn’t given all of our information to him. DC calls again, thanking us for carrying through with his requests and telling us to keep the objects for the time being. He also brings up the word “key” in reference to the Hebrew document Johnny retrieved in New York, and we wonder if it was encrypted.
  • February 1, 2008 We continued examining the pickups from the two Chorazos agents. One appears to be a picture of a city that only appears during the Scream, the other an article about someone near the top of the Chorazos pyramid. One is written in Mandarin, the other marked in Hebrew. At the end of the day Octopiii sends an email to Peter as promised, filled with our analysis of the Hebrew investigation.
  • January 31, 2008 We receive Bryce’s files and learn of his insanity. Bryce was delusional and catatonic for a while, but around the time when Jen and Stu were killed, Marie went missing, and Sapagoo intercepted the Chorazos ritual (on the 27th of August) Bryce acted up, getting really hectic until after the 28th, at which point he gave up. Lots of talk about ‘daddy’ (Dedi) and death in Bryce's files. DC continues calling, even more nervous and worried, and the two groups head out to intercept their Chorazos targets. The Austin crew (October) returns to reveal a pair of satellite photos from “the photographer” which have Mandarin written on them. It points to a military base in West Texas. That night the New York Crew, being Johnny the Hack and his girlfriend, pick up something from a Chorazos member in New York.
  • January 30, 2008 We continue our interaction with Peter—we begin to speculate the option of swapping info for info and come to that agreement. Meanwhile DC keeps frantically calling to give us last-minute tips on how to go through with the pickups. That night Catherwood and many others (Unholy Chaos, Miss Sphinx, and Rogi) head out to Sacramento with the Hard Drive to make the swap.
  • January 29, 2008 DC leaves us another message overnight, and it sounds like he needs our help. Various codewords are used—Diviner, Photographer, Sculptor… Later DC calls us again, this time with a more direct request—he wants us to help him run errands, most likely for Chorazos. The specifics require Sentries to be in two places on Thursday at 8pm: a club in New York and somewhere in Austin, Texas. Meanwhile, negotiations with Peter take an unexpected turn as he suddenly finalizes the plans: a bar in Sacramento, at 8:00 PM the following day. Catherwood has not yet received the hard drive and if she doesn’t get it today or tomorrow she’ll have a tough time making it.
  • January 28, 2008 We continue talking to Peter. We finally have an end in sight as Catherwood suggests we meet at Yerba Buena on Saturday the 2nd.
  • January 27, 2008 Someone we can’t identify (but who sounds like Devon) calls and leaves a voicemail at our account. We begin trying to figure out what they are trying to say.
  • January 24, 2008 Peter asks if we could do the rendezvous in Sacramento, where he has an agent who could do the transaction. We come to the consensus that we’d rather do it in San Francisco. Meanwhile Sploit posts at his blog about how everyone is talking about the red moon, and how it is likely a huge vision of the future.
  • January 23, 2008 We come to a general consensus to go through with the trade once Peter gives us more details on the specifics. In the meantime, we receive a voicemail from a very freaked-out DC, who has trouble remembering stuff since the Feast (likely a side-effect of Forsythe interrogations) and is under tighter watch with Chorazos. He apparently needs to recruit people, and we begin to think we will need to join the Cult to help bring it down from the inside.
  • January 22, 2008 After a couple more persuasive emails from Peter we agree to do the trade, but some people are still trying to get more out of it than Peter initially offered.
  • January 21, 2008 Peter Severn emails Biff telling him that he wants to conduct a trade to forge better connections between Forsythe and Sentry Outpost. He wants us to trade the Hard Drive from the Atlanta Ritual for documents on what Bryce's insanity. We immediately begin bickering amongst ourselves, because we want to raise the stakes on him--of course we don't trust Peter.
  • January 11, 2008 Sploit (see below) posts at Two Dreams talking about a red moon--setting on speculation regarding the next Chorazos Ritual that will take place on February 21st.
  • December 12, 2007 Dreamer/Blogger Sploit recounts a dream he had the night before in which he found Devin Conrad caged, beaten and close to death.
  • Novermber 7, 2007 We learn that eXu’s first name is Jakub, and his last name is an impossible-to-pronounce name from Poland, beginning in U.
  • November 6, 2007 A picture of Spukhafte Fernwirkung, who we begin to associate with Chorazos, believing that he is the leader, and then Nyarlathotep, the Elder God from Lovecraft’s Mythos who was famous for coming disguised as a human and spreading insanity is received via email from Peter Severn of Foresythe Security.

[edit] Summary of Events: Late September to Early November

The Sentries shared email contact with a man named Devon Conrad--DC, who sent B.A. the package. We also learned about Foresight Property Management, who had been contacted by DC and had arranged a weekend camping trip for the Sentries in the West Virginia mountains. After learning about Elizabeth Riley, otherworldly sounds, something called the Scream, someone called Emmet, and a group of people called Dreamers, five Sentries went camping with B.A, DC, and two other Dreamers. B.A. decided to stay behind and face the Scream--something no other Dreamer dared attempt, for the Scream was supposedly fatal. That Halloween, B.A. experienced the Scream, and her website went bonkers.

[edit] Summary of Events: April 13-Early September

In Spring and Summer 2007, a group of people found a puzzle leading to Sentry Outpost, where we met the Original Sentries. The Original Sentries were originally skeptical that we found them through a puzzle emanating from a Florida Psychic named B.A. Saint Feline, but after the psychic's dreams led to a pickup in New York City the Original Sentries had no choice but to trust us. We became friends as we worked together to unravel the hacking of Sentry Outpost by the cult of Chorazos, then consoled each other as the Original Sentries were kliled one-by-one (or committed suicide or went insane). Finally on the lunar eclipse on August 27, the red moon, Jen Pike was killed, Stu Ronomi was killed, and Sapagoo infiltrated a Chorazos ritual and made off with the sacrifice--an old hard drive.
