A group that is known by the council and sometimes (but very rarely) called before it. Their involvement is unknown. Their influence is unknown. It is indirectly confirmed by Exu that they follow the edict and it is highly likely that they work in unconventional circles many would call "magic."

• eXu identifies himself as an Esoteric in his communication to Sentry Jjason. Here is page 1 of that letter and here is page 2. eXu visited the Outpost in May 2007 and briefly stopped by again in August of the same year. He has cited the Edict as a document which binds him, making colloquy with this individual difficult.
