• December 23, 2008 11:40 PM (male) Hey, just catching up here. Good to know I wasn't going crazy Friday. At one point, I... I thought I saw butterflies. Which, let me tell you, is not something you want to point out to your boss. Things got better Friday though--and have been better ever since, and not just here. On the other side, too. The first thought was that it just wasn't getting any worse, which is an improvement. But now I'm pretty convinced that it's actually getting better. Anyone wanna bet how long this will last?

I've been hearing that things are better up in the city, but shit's crazy down here. And going by the screams I heard down by this one warehouse, they're starting to eat their own. • December 22, 2008 5:10 PM (male) I gotta say, I'm getting a bit freaked out. I got stuck in some back alley someplace, thought for sure I was a dead cat. But, no. I even managed to get by a group of people without them noticing. That's just not normal. Things are calm. Way too calm. Even the wind's died down. Did you guys notice that? Not just talking about the storm or whatever on Friday, I mean, going back a couple of weeks. And the drums. The people. Everything's just a heck of a lot quieter and I can't help but think that's anything but good news.

• December 19, 2008 12:40 PM (male) Maybe it's just because things things have been so bad these last few days, but the same thing happened to me. I mean, I went there when I was awake. I mean I wasn't there, I mean I know. It's just all messed up. I was walking the dog this morning and admiring the snow and everything was fine but as I'm walking by the houses and they're not looking so good. You know what I mean? I could see these goulish people hiding in the trees Suddenly the headless horseman, from that story by what's his name? Ah, it's going to drive me crazy. Anyway, he just goes flying by me. Gah, what was that author's name? And there were these people just running after him, which, you know is how the story usually goes. Gah I'm glad to hear that I wasn't the only one having this experience this morning. I hope everyone else is ok.
  

• December 19, 2008 12:20 PM (male) Thank God it's the last day before holiday break. because if I don't get a holiday SOOON, they'll put me on permanent leave. I was at a lunch meeting, and everything was fine, but the people... I guess it was loud and I freaked out. (I told everyone it was a panic attack) But I saw things I shouldn't have seen. it was just out of the corner of my eye, but it was like .. there was this old soldier - well he was young, but he dressed from years ago. he was fighting off people and saying something like Rose , Rose in Ireland. And there were people looking for him. and it was no panic attack. the sound, the look on those faces. it was straight from a nightmare.

So today, I'm driving the kids to school, I thought I was driving in the night I know I wasn't of course. The kids were with me. And I was smoking. But I saw all these kids I was driving right by the guys who plays those drums. And I was driving down the street and there was this building that's right there and what is that building, with all those <muffled> It looked just like it. I was there last night and there were these people. and they had to <muffled> So anyways, I turned right, and there was this starbucks, of course. And it made me think of the coffee shop that we went to, before we went to the temple. Thank god I dropped the kids off before they saw me. I must have looked a wreck. I really should drink more mocha. They would have called child protective services for sure. So what's that building? Anyways, I thought I'd share my morning with you guys. I also hope the stupid drummer stops playing so loud. I tried my best to get out of the city and away from it, but I couldn't. And then there were these people (muffed) and then they were gone. Anyways, I got away, though and a payphone, and I don't ever remember seeing a payphone. It was the strangest thing. and there was this piece of paper underneath it. It it had this symbol on it. like on the wall.

You know, the one with the strange statue's on the opposite corners and the funky wooden jungle gym that's so much fun to climb. Those idiots from the plaza have taken it over. It sucks. They ran me into that house next to it. I jumped out a back window to get away from them. And now there's this old path, so I took it until it dead-ended into another one. I thought I was stuck back there. But if you go to the left, it's okay. I cut back to the street when I hit some crumbled marble. Had to climb over a bunch and nearly landed on this old dog house. Luckily there was no dog, but that freaked me out.

Then someone said she was seen carrying some cat... toward something... toward the cemetery! And people saying she killed it. What the hell is going on? If that's her protecting us, damn! But if you think that old pile of bricks is nice and modern looking, you need to have a lesson in architecture. If bricks are your thing, you should really go check out the church at the center of the city. It's about two blocks down, turn left and head another two blocks over. Now that's a brick building worth something. I mean, it's still standing. Oh right - University. It's over the other way. Head down street and then over. And don't go down the alley to head across. It's really bad. And you sound a bit naive and trusting. But believe me, it was those people that chased me up in the building in the first place.
  

• December 8, 2008 7:50 PM (male) So man, after that poster(?) about the ruins and the woods, I just had to check them out. But, as soon as I got close, I could feel her. I could feel St. Feline. I don't know if I got distracted, but I was just running towards her, but I thought - I dunno - like I never felt like that before. The feeling was like drawing me towards her. And then there was this noise. It was so loud. And these herd of things just came crashing out of woods. Like these pack of mammoths. All wild looking and like charging right at me and I couldn't get away. I didn't know where I was. They were running right at me and then I was right by those stone slabs. It's gotta be where you spent the Scream, right? Did you see what was on them? They were like circles or something. Do you think they're part of ruins? Maybe like an old grave? Whatever they are, they saved my life because those things didnt want to come near them. They just ran right around it. I've never been so scared. I thought I was goign to get crushed. And then I woke up.

• December 8, 2008 2:50 PM (male) "So I'm thinking more about this map that's Sploit's having us build and I thought of another great hiding place we should put on there. If you're in the park or plaza , whatever you want to call it, say around the mill and need a place to chill but can't get up to the drugstore. You wanna head down the street that dead ends in the park right there. Halfway down the street you'll see an old cobblestone alley it's pretty dark so usually avoid it but there's this museum there. It's been pretty well looted, but there's still some cool stuff there and you can really hear the people coming miles away on that marble floor. You'll know you're at the right place because there's this strange weird old statue out front."

It's on top of a sort of modern looking building that was probably pretty nice before. It's right next to an alley, like half a block down from the drummer. It's even on the same side of the street. Actually it's the only alley on that block. Well on that side of the block. I think there's two, yeah there were two on the other side of the street because there's this one and another one if you keep walking just a little. If you go down that alley towards the next block there's a safe bulding. You'll know it when you see it, it's guarded Like. A. Fortress."

There was I think it was like an overgrown city garden with all of these really interesting statues like marble things and there was this great big arch and it was covered in ivy. Uh it could almost take you away from everything, but I'm sure it's all dead. Destroyed. Last time i went there, there were loads of people and I couldn't even go down the alley right there. I had to goin from the other side. There's no other place like it in the city that I know of. The cemetary comes close. But yeah oh it's overrun by us, not that that's bad. It's not the same. I felt sorry for it but he was following this cat into the woods and I think the cat might have been Sploit. Speaking of him, has anyone seen his blog lately? He needs help putting together a map of the place. There's lots of stuff missing. Like the crumbled old drugstore across from the, he calls it a plaza, I've always thought it was a park. But uh either way it's a great place to hide in now that it's been completely raided. Just don't go too far down the alley next to it. It dead ends behind this crazy looking old building. I mean ancient, like dawn of time old, but it's a complete dead end you can't get around. So if anyone comes after you any of those crazy humans you're just screwed. I really wish those people would go back to hanging in the shadows."

Anyway, like an idiot, I went down the street and that stupid drummer ,of course, was right there at the very next corner surrounded by people, so I ran as fast as I could to stay out of their way and then I noticed the dog wasn't in his yard, so I went and had a little poke around. He had all sorts of neat stuff in there. there's this really cool record with JFK's speeches on it and there's this stick to chew on and it says MY BIG STICK on it but it's this really tiny thing. Any way I was looking around and it hit me I haven't seen that stupid dog anywhere in a while."

• November 21, 2008 5:40 PM (female) Help me! Please. I was taking a nap last Friday afternoon. I didn't mean to fall asleep. I just couldn't stay away another minute and it all happened so fast. I'm at the shore, to the far west I think. Pass the casino. There's a jetty. I go there to make it easier and to watch the water. It's just not so bad that way. But the quake, or explosion, or whatever that was - the rocks. I can't get back. I'm stuck there in the water. I'm scared it's gonna happen again. It'll wash me away if I fall asleep. • November 21, 2008 12:00 PM (male) St. Feline is in the woods! I've been hiding out there since the rumble last Friday - a tree falling on me doesn't seem as bad as a building falling on me. Anyway, last night I heard some footsteps in the leaves, and felt her purr. It was just amazing to feel it again. I ran after her, but there were these like crazy loud drums and her purr got really really intense. I never felt it like that before. But then she started stumbling and couldn't walk straight. She reached out to a tree and fell to the ground. I thought she was dead, so I ran over. She wasn't though - just dazed. No idea what happened. But she's okay now. And she's in the woods. Wasn't too happy to see me though, which kinda sucked. But still, I saw her. Wow.

I wanted to let everyone know that I heard from Bridget, uh St. Feline, today and well, she'll be angry- she'll be angry as all get out for me talking about this but I wanted to let you know that she *does* love you all and she worries about you a lot. She knows what you're going through and she's trying to make it better. To do that, she had to go into some dangerous places and definitely face some dangerous people. She doesn't want you to get hurt. She's also concerned that she might be one of the dangerous people. I told her that that's silly but you know how she is. I know some of you are worried and upset. She's okay and she does care about us all - more than we probably even know. She said to be careful and keep the diamond close. I hope you are all sleeping safe and sound. Bye.

I don't remember all the details, just battlefields. Ancient battlefields. Not, not modern artillery, but like swords, and cannons and things like that. Catapults, rather. All my friends were around me. But um ... they were all... everyone around me was dead, and I was the only survivor. and I don't really understand ... why? I don't remember how the battle happened, I don't remember where we were, just a big field, a lot of things burning, everyone around me was dead. (?? ?? ?? I didn't catch the last short sentence)

Um, I went to the cemetery, but I got there and there were so many other people waiting for her so I went through the woods to try and go around. You know, I don't know if you've been there- been there lately but they're really finally- they're really beginning to lose it there, so- I just went around the woods and I could- I could feel that she was close. And I saw her.
  She asked me if I knew- if I knew- if I had been there- if I knew the woods, if I had been somewhere but I said "no" and she got- she got kinda mad at me. She got really mad and she threw something at me. She threw, I think it was- I don't know. She wouldn't have- She wouldn't have done that-" [it sounds cut off]

I freaked and one dude kicked me. He kicked me, man! I went flying, and those other guys just grabbed me and threw me out the door. Outside. That's it. Couldn't believe it. I didn't even have to scratch my way through, or nothin'. What a waste of these claws, man. I can't believe the workers are back, and they definitely don't seem to care that we're around. • November 7, 2008 7:30PM (female) "Hello? I put a note up on the wall about this, but I wanted to call it in here too. I think it's really important that we start taking better care of each other. A couple of us went down to the city to try and find some of the missing. There are so many that have just disappeared, and you know how dangerous it is out there. But we've got to keep looking. People seem to be getting worse. We went by that corner, where the guy plays his drums, and the crowd was just insane. Some were dancing, if you can call it that. They looked crazy. I thought they were going to start attacking each other. Sadly, I don't think St. Feline is going to do anything about it.
  We found this one cat who was starving and shaking like mad; it was awful! She just kept crying about how she saw St. Feline and begged for her help. But she just left her there and didn't help her at all. I don't know if she was delirious; she was almost dead, but she seemed so sure of it.
  We have to help each other. It's just the right thing to do. I love St. Feline, and I do trust her, but that doesn't mean we don't need to look out for each other too. I think she'll help us if we help ourselves. "

• November 7, 2008 12:30PM (female) "I saw her. First time since last week. A couple of us have been hanging out on the roof of a building down by that old fountain. I know it's stupid to be down there with so many people but it's pretty safe up there on the roof, and you get a good view of things.
  I knew it was her. We all felt it. All the way up there we felt it. She was all the way on the other end of the block.
  Standing on the corner, dancing with all those people, going absolutely mad.
  Why would she be with all those people? Has she even been to the wall lately?
  After a while, the music got real loud, and she started running down the street towards us.
  I tried to catch up with her, but by the time I got down, I lost her. I wound up being surrounded by a bunch of crazys.
  What's going on? This building used to be one of the good ones. They rebuilt it and everything.

I don't know what I did, but apparently I can't do stealth for shit, cause they saw me. I thought they were going to use me for some sort of crazy sacrifice, and I wanted no part of that. So I bolted(?) up towards that old cemetery out by the woods. I was almost there when it went down, too. Totally lucked out. Seems like the woods were the place to be. I mean, sure, it was scary as hell, but it didn't get hit like the city. With all the noise, and shaking, and the crazy ass wind. So I found me some cover behind this old stone slab, and it was almost like nothing was going on. Totally got to remember that for next year."

I caught a stray up there tonight said he heard about it down by the wall. Said things have gotten worse down there. Said a whole bunch of cats were skinned alive. I was just getting into the story when the whole place started shaking like nothing I've ever felt before. Then started the Scream noise. I couldn't describe it like the whole place like the whole earth was all just gonna collapse. Then I don't know then I woke up. Something tells me if I didn't I'd be dead.
