He has an intimate knowledge of the area depicted at WVSolitude, and has been communicating with people in the area since at least 1975. Devon Conrad describes Emmet as being very old and very wise. Within the WVSolitude area, when it is quiet, you can hear Emmet's whispers as clear as his voice.
The Dreamers expected Emmet to be present in the dream world during the Feast before the scream, but he didn't show up. In a Craig's List posting, BA recounts a dream in which she receives a note from Emmet telling her that it was "her turn".
