B.A. Saint-Feline is a psychic and fortuneteller from Cassadaga, Florida. Her home pages is bseeingu.com Starting on April 13th, B.A. Saint Feline started posting on Craigslists all over the world, describing her disturbing dreams. These dreams described her journeys through a collapsing city, as she attempted to find some sort of relief. Her dreams were often guided by dreams that were submitted to her, either by replying to her craigslists or by phoning her (at 321-249-0216). Her dreams also often contained information about the server infections and at times describing physical locations. |}

[edit] Description from her Website
Don't let the name give you the wrong idea. I am not a crazy cat lady. In fact, I've never owned one. It's just that we get along. I get them and they get me. It's scary, really. In all the places that I've hung my hat - when you spend ten years in The City trying to make it, you hang your hat in a lot of places - the strays would hunt me down. It's nice to know that someone or something is looking after you. It keeps you sane and gets your butt off the couch to go look for a job. Looking for jobs is your job when you're a struggling actor.
That's right, I am a trained actor. That shouldn't scare you away. I was never very good at the acting thing - if I had been, you'd be seeing me on Broadway instead of me seeing you.
Growing up, people called me "intuitive" and "wise" and an "old soul." I don't know if any of that is true. I get what people are trying to say and what they're trying to do. Empathetic is better word, but that carries with it the notion that I care.
It isn't that I don't like people. I do. It isn't that people don't like me. They do.
The problem is that nobody likes the truth. They say they want to hear it, they even think that they want to hear it. The reality is that people like the pretty picture they've painted in their mind. The don't want to look at the grim reality. People call it bias, I call it an illusion.
The ancients believed that cats were old souls kept mute so that they couldn't influence the people around them, so that they couldn't break the illusion. Perhaps that's why cats seek me out. I have a voice and I'm not afraid to break the illusion.
I don't care if it's not what you want to hear.
[edit] GetMEout's visit
The first incident of direct contact we have with BA Saint Feline is from June of 2007, when Sentry GetMEout (Kevin) drove down to Cassadaga and met with her. The following are his posts describing what he learned:
And geez, I slipped mention of it in a week ago - I'd hardly call this a drive-by info spill. And I dunno what you want me to say. She's pretty good looking. She's not an artist trying to make some sort of statement on Craigslist (disappointing). I dunno. I was all kinda disturbing but intriguing - I'm probably forgetting details We talked a lot. And had nachos.[1]
What do you expect me to say? "BA didn't have fuck all to do with Bryce's condition. She tries to sleep, but can't. She has some seriously freaky shit happing to her now and is as freaked out as everyone else. She was never a fucking psychic, just some chick that would tell people what they wanted to hear. Now she's seeing shit and people (me) show up on her doorstep asking cracked-out questions." Tell me how you'd deal with that crap? Would you go crazy?[2]
How about "Fuck us, guys, she didn't send any packages to anyone and didn't write any notes?" Or I could pull out "I made her cry, and I've never felt worse about anything before."
And yes, she thinks my boots are ugly. I've never been a "regular" of anything or anyone, and being on the phone gives her headaches.
Enough?
[edit] The Feast Before The Scream
The second incident of direct contact we have with B.A. comes
from the Feast Before the Scream, when five Sentries went up into
the West Virginian mountains to go camping with Dreamers B.A, DC,
JD, and Dee.
The five Sentries attending the Feast met Bridget at the train up
into the mountains. On the train ride up, B.A. and the Sentries got
to know each other. She gave them tarot readings and revealed that
she was better at tarot readings farther away from technology.
After meeting up with DC, JD, and Dee, BA struggled up the hill
with the Sentries and Dreamers, dragging stuff up with the
nefarious wheelbarrow that Mapmaker described in his story [1]. Upon
reaching the top, the Sentries and Dreamers cooked the Feast and
got down to discussion.
Taken directly from Mapmaker's account: "But talking with Bridget
was another story. She knew I had talked a lot with Marie. She
would too, in her dreams, at the coffee shop. When she said to me,
"She's dead, you know", I answered honestly: "Yes." I've known it
for a while. Both Bridget and I could feel it, and it hurts. It was
comforting to have someone there to share the pain with. Bridget
also told us about the guilt she feels over Kevin. Something else
we could commiserate over. The pain she feels - you can see it in
her eyes. Tonamel and Varin heard from her that she was extremely
uncomfortable about Devon moving all of his stuff into her tent
without even asking and asked if we were comfortable with her
sleeping in the cabin. The answer was a clear "yes". Oddly, Tonamel
asked Devon if he had asked Bridget for permission, and he insisted
that he had, and that she was fine with it. It's worth noting that
at point the two of them went off down the path to talk in private,
and when they returned, she was yelling at him, claiming he "always
acted like that" and something about his attitude. I don't recall
clearly, to be honest. I wouldn't go so far to say that Devon had
any ill intentions, but he was extremely protective of Bridget, and
that grated on her."
"While we were grilling Devon, Bridget pulled out her tarot cards.
She read that Devon had recently accepted a large sum of money and
regretted it...In continuing the tarot, Bridget concluded that
Devon had backed himself into a corner from which there was no
escape. He kind of started to freak out at this point, not knowing
what to do. Someone commented that there was always a choice - but
Dee held that his choice was at the beginning, when he decided to
join Chorazos."
That night, the group went to sleep only to be awakened around 1:20
to Bridget's screaming and flailing. She immediately inquired as to
the safety of Devon, for she had had a nightmare. Her dream was
that she awoke from her apartment and found a note from Emmet
saying "It's your turn." She left the building, walked through the
forest, and arrived at the angel statue in the cemetery. Instead of
the broken angel that was usually there, though, Hope was now whole
and as Bridget watched, Hope took off and flew away. With the
pedestal free, and curious as to what Hope had seen, Bridget
stepped up onto the pedestal and looked to the sky. She couldn't
describe what she saw, but it was like the cosmos were looking back
at her, making her feel insignificant. The other Dreamers found her
in Hope's place, pointing at the sky, with a dark-skinned woman
whispering something in her ear. Bridget had not seen or heard a
woman like that.
Ultimately Bridget decided to stay behind and experience the
Scream, which was unheard of because previously, Dreamers
inherently knew that the Scream was fatal, or something to that
effect, and the other Dreamers were apprehensive. DC, especially,
wanted to stay and help B.A. face the Scream, but she refused. When
he didn't relent, she took one of the Sentries aside and gave them
a note to give to Devon once they got back to the train--they would
also have to keep him from following her when she vanished into
Cass, where she was to stay behind while the Sentries and Dreamers
continued home.
[edit] The Scream
Main Article: Bseeingu media
A few days later, on Halloween 2007, came the Scream. While we are
unsure exactly what occurred where B.A. was, her website went
crazy. It was overcome with strange pictures from her past and
present, and a trio of audio files were uploaded along with a video
of--what we assume--is B.A. facing the Scream. The Scream according
to the video is a piercing sound that hurts Bridget immensely, and
it seems to have distorted the video somewhat. In addition to the
video and pictures, three audio files were put up. The first,
"oblation.mp3," is ethereal whistling accompanied by a voice
reading a portion of Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu" backwards.
The second, "rhythm.mp3," is a strange drumming and chanting. And
the third, "whereareyou.wav," is a one-sided conversation between
B.A. and DC in which Bridget comforts DC.
[edit] Hoping to Find Providence
A couple days after the Scream, Bridget posted five messages to
Craigslist, one to each of the Sentries who went camping with her,
and each had a youtube link to her message: Hoping to Find Providence. She reassures Providence
that she is okay and that she can help Providence--but more
importantly, she thanks Providence for being so incredibly helpful
and wonderful for her.
[edit] October 2008 Website Changes
Main Article: Bseeingu 2008
In September and October, 2008, several images became corrupted,
followed by a flurry of errors that overran the website. Then there
was an "errors" directory that appeared with "chrysalis.cgi," and
finally the errors became cycles of text and Craigslist images. On
November 8th, the website stabilized with a hostile message saying
"I Will Hurt You," "Go Away," and "I Might Want You."
[edit] Deal With the Drummer
The Deal with the drummer is so far unclear. However, in 2007
they made a deal of some kind that Bridget herself could not quite
remember in waking. So far we only have a one-sided conversation to
work with, but it appears that the image that BA found with Sploit's help and
subsequently posted on her website was something that he wanted,
and Bridget thought that this was the end of the deal--but the
drummer made it continue as he tasked her with the finding of a
certain temple in the Dreamscape. However, when she found the
temple, with Sploit and Providence's help, it was locked until a
ritual was performed to open the temple.
Bridget's relationship with the Drummer is annoying but stable. The
drummer is training BA to control her newly-acquired power, and to
help her do that, the drummer is tasking her with odd missions
(such as acquiring medallions and finding temples). Bridget doesn't
like him, because he is incredibly dense and confusing, but she
feels that he wants to help, even if he can't disclose everything
at the onset and fully educate her.
[edit] New York City Meet-up
Main Article: December 19, 2008
On December 13, 2008, Bridget met up with Rose, Ravenwolf, and
Johnny the Hack in New York City for a small reunion with fellow
members of Providence. They went to Starbucks and then went for
sushi. Later on they went out for ice cream, chatting and catching
each other up all the while. Among other things, the group of
Sentries learned that BA had recently bought cute new boots, she
was in New York City on one of the drummer's missions, tasked with
retrieving a cylinder. She didn't know who Exu was and didn't trust
Peter Severn, but she trusted the Sentries to make the right
choice. Apparently, while in the temple, BA saw some freaky
bas-reliefs and many cylinders. If replaced, the cylinders would
keep the gate in the temple shut. She also revealed in this meeting
that she had inadvertently hospitalized Sploit with a display of
uncontrolled telekinetic power, and had later been kidnapped by
people in the warehouses, aka Forsythe. BA also revealed that she
had been seeing people in the Dreamscape specifically--Bryce
was running around like the madman he was, Howard was doing tasks for someone, Peter
and Art were hanging around at the docks, and one
of them was probably responsible for her kidnapping. Finally, she
showed intense confusion about elftrytub, the twitter account--she
didn't know it existed, and she only added the note about it in her
source because the drummer had told her to do so.
Bridget stayed in New York for the following week, finally meeting
up with the Sentries again at the Eagles and Prey statue in Central
Park. She accompanied them in their trek through the city,
assisting the Sentries in their attempts to solve the puzzles posed
to them, though her overexposure to the city for the past week had
weakened her. Throughout the day, BA exhibited signs of
EHS--headaches, bloody noses, and if people used a cellphone near
her, she would faint. At one point, she also exhibited strong signs
of EHS and psychic ability, which was only staved off by Bryce's
medallion, which he placed around BA's neck.
[edit] Further Information
The Orlando Dreamers believe that BA has some sort of power over the dreams they're having and that she can protect the from the "end of all things." Of all of the Orlando Dreamers, DC probably feels this way the strongest. BA herself doesn't understand what they expect her to do.
It is theorized that the young girl at the library who reappears in the dreams represents BA's past. For example, the post Listening to answers describes how BA became a psychic.
