I sent art this:

Art,
Whether through overconfidence or underplanning (or through a combination of both) we have absolutely no way to contact them now. The initial plan had been to have one of the team members posted at a payphone near the cass main office, however it doesn't appear as though anyone was ever there (i managed to harass a few locals though).
We've had no word since yesterday afternoon..
what the fuck are you doing in WV?

and he hit back w/ this

I heard you needed the cavalry.
Been doing some work down in White Sulfur Springs. When I heard people had followed that drifter Devon into the wilderness I nearly shit myself. And I wasn’t too far away.
Not good that you haven’t heard from them. I don’t believe there’s such a thing as ex-cultists.

So are we fucked or what? The weather is shit out there, we've got no way to contact them, and as far as we know, they have no way to contact us.
any slick WV tricks up your sleeves?

Alright, I found this: http://www.wvbike.org/cass_loop/
That’s what I’d be up against in sunshine in warm weather. Now imagine it in pea soup fog and nearly freezing weather up this high. This seems to be the last stupid rural stretch of it, including the cabin we suspect they are being held at:

Devon couldn’t have picked a more difficult spot for us to reach him at.

| Everyone's holed up in the Bald Knob Wilderness Cabin for the night then. Is that where the feast is taking place? |

holy fuck.
so we wait then i suppose...
any way you could be waiting at the train station tomorrow morning?
i figure that either you could usher our team away from DC on the train
or in the event that it's only dc, you could take him into custody until some more of us can get out there...
what do you know about the area he's got them sequestered in?

I know I’m preaching the choir, Alex, but you HAVE to keep the Sentries from thinking like a goddamn cult. This might help:

Still trying to make arrangements for an ATV, but I’ve got to wait for a break in this fog before I dare those trails. Maybe sunrise will burn some of that off. I hate waiting that long, though.
Sunday is the last train of the season: if they don’t come down the mountain on that train, then at best we’ve got a search and rescue on our hands. If not worse.

It is starting to sound more like trapped than holed up. Well, at least they didn't kill Varin. _________________ "Perhaps a longer stick is in order." - Unknown Quantity |

How do you know they didn't kill her?
It's after midnight there now, they've had hours and hours since those pictures to kill everybody. Oh god. I sound like a lunatic. This is insane. |

I thought Kona said she saw her in the pictures, but I just checked again and she only said she THOUGHT she might have saw her.
And you're right ... it has been alot of hours since those photos, that we don't even know Varin is in!! _________________ "Perhaps a longer stick is in order." - Unknown Quantity |

I checked the schedule: 11AM to Bald Knob returns 4-5PM.
I’d rather surprise him at the front door before the train ever gets there. Fewer witnesses.
The right people will always know where I am. As soon as the fog starts to break, I’ll make a dash for the peak.

| Makes me somewhat worried about the events going on over there... To think that I was almost going to be one of the people directly in the middle of it all... but thinking about it now I wish I was there because I would've found SOME way to contact SOMEBODY on the outside by now... I've started my own communication with Arthur as well in the hopes that we can get some more information but I know I'm not going to sleep anytime soon... the dreams will just come back to me anyways if I do... although perhaps that can help me... maybe I can use my ability to lucidly dream to find out what on earth is going on over there right now... Would only work if I knew they were sleeping however... oh well... Perhaps I'll try it anyways once I finally get some rest... Knowing how this is I'm going to be worried sick about them all until we find a way to get in touch with them again!.... I'm holding my "lucky coin" right now and casting a few protective spells on the group right now in the hopes that somehow I might be able to assist them from here... God I hope they're all alright... |

Okay, people, we need to stay calm. Getting hysterical isn't going to help. (Oh, God, I'm starting to sound like a broken record!)
Anyway, If all else fails, We can find a way to hunt these bastards down and beat them with trout until they tell us what happened/is happening. I have faith in these people that they'll be able to take care of themselves. If something does happen to them, however, I swear that the perpatrators' blood will be shed, and their pain will be long and drawn out. _________________ Her dreams are just too far away to see how steps she's making

| See, that's what I thought - we don't know. They're in the fog in some freezing little cabin being eaten by some freaking dream monsters like that painting that I can't get out of my head. And Marie's in my head and blood and feathers and broken glass |

you're our best shot at this point dude.
we're all behind ya. go get 'em.
you got a gun or anything? or are you planning on scolding them away from DC?

he sent this:

If everything goes the way I want it, instead of Devon being the only one to get on the train, everyone but him will be on it instead.
Going to grab some sleep before the hunt. I’ll contact you tomorrow before I head out.
