Good Evening / Morning
I'm starting this thread late thursday night / early friday morning to keep track of the information we receive back from our dear friends as they make their way to west virginia in search of answers.
I doubt they'll have a chance to swing by before their trip, but i wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if i didn't take a moment to thank the sentries putting their lives on the line to walk into the wilderness in the hopes of coming back out with some of the answers we've been so desperately seeking. You're doing all of us very proud, and we're praying for your safe return.
Go swiftly, go safely, and for fuck's sake, come home.

Into the woods
Without delay,
But careful not
To lose the way.
Into the woods,
Who knows what may
Be lurking on the journey?
Into the woods
To get the thing
That makes it worth
The journeying.
To see the King--
To sell the cow--
To make the potion--
To see--
To sell--
To get--
To bring--
To make--
To lift--
To go to the Festival!
Into the woods!
Into the woods!
Into the woods,
Then out of the woods,
And home before dark!

My gods but I could not sleep last night for worrying about what might happen this weekend.
Now here I am back staring at the screen. Wondering worrying wondering worrying. Has anyone been in touch with any of the travellers? Are they on their way? It looks like it is raining there now - may their journeys be safe and their cabin warm and they come back to us SAFE. Will they be letting us know when they arrive? I have to get a grip on myself. Time to start praying again.
I wish I could get that image of Saturn eating that body out of my head. Maybe a walk outside would help. |

It is with deep regret that I say that I will not be attending. When work calls, you have to answer...
Anyway, best of wishes to the lucky (or unlukcy) ones! _________________ "We dream of her dreaming of Emmet dreaming of her. " -Devon Conrad |

Well, just to update people, I have contacted some of the investigation team on their way to Cass this morning. Apparently the roads are a little shitty what with all the rain they're getting in that area.
The Mapmaker, Varin, and Tonamel carpool was about 5 hours away 1 1/2 hours ago (so by "mathing" it, they should have about 3 1/2 to go).
Biff last checked in from Buckley, WV about 10 mins. ago (about 100 miles away from Cass).
I spoke to Rowan earlier this morning (about 1 1/2 hours ago) and she was about 150 miles away from Cass.
I don't know about Unfictionrose or RavenWolf, and it looks like Mar_Vell wasn't able to make the trip.
That's all I know folks!
Good luck and safe travels the remainder of your trip! _________________ If MUDs had reality altering powers we'd be tits deep in elves by now.

Well, Biff and Rowan both pulled into Cass at the same time, so they made it!
Mapmaker, Varin, and Tonamel are just about to Elkins, WV (just north of Cass).
I'll let you know if anything else arises!
EDIT: I also have the number to the pay phone outside of the Cass General Store. If people want it to try and reach the campers, send me a PM and I'll give you the number (don't want to post it here). _________________ If MUDs had reality altering powers we'd be tits deep in elves by now.
