And the taunting begins anew . . .
http://orlando.craigslist.org/mis/441059477.html

EDIT: and a response:
http://orlando.craigslist.org/mis/441284694.html

The response almost seems like our old boy, Obs, but I'm not sure if he's still around at the moment. Anyone else wanna fess up to the response?

EDIT: I split this from the Orlando CL thread to create a thread for these new posts from the Dreamers, which seem to be about new "stuff" -- Dante

Seems to me to be more like the same one that posted this one earlier:
http://sidtheduck.com/BSeeingU/data/405034546.html

(which also sounds like Obs Smile )

EDIT: has anybody else responded? This sounds like maybe he's curious about Providence:

Reply to the reply: http://orlando.craigslist.org/mis/441636344.html

I sent her an e-mail, explaining some of what we've figuring out and inviting her to come by.

EDIT: and an update: http://orlando.craigslist.org/mis/441799438.html

Heh - "mountain boy." Somebody needs to remember to call DC "mountain boy" when you see him.

There's been another reply, although I'm not sure this is another Dreamer or someone else entirely:

Actually, it just sounds like an immature "normal" craigslist flamer to me. It seems like someone who doesn't believe the dreamers, thinks they're gullible, and wants them to seek psychiatric help.

This got flagged for removal. Sid's dreamcatcher is feeling under the weather. Fortunately, icymidnight's caught it!

Well, it looks like DC isn't too happy with what that guy is posting about his precious Saint-Feline:

Aye... although I couldn't help but notice that DC posted from the bay area. He certainly sounds highly protective of BA. Fanatic? Perhaps.

No, DC posted *TO* the Bay Area, because that's where this other guy (we need a name for him) must be from.

And indeed, now the Other Guy has posted back *TO* Harrisonburg, with a message for DC:

http://harrisonburg.craigslist.org/mis/442143912.html

So, a couple of interesting things:
Quote:
I didn't give that girl anything that couldn't have been gotten in a dozen other ways. Ooo I mentioned a continent, that'll get her far.

Who is "that girl"? Someone who might be trying to track BA? Should we be trying to track her down?

Also:
Quote:
You gotta find a better place to hang out. Seriously. Before the feast, man, cause I don't want everyone coming back strung up as tight as you.

Um, so the people going to WV are going to be participating in the feast?? PHEAR! PHEAR!

EDIT:
So it looks like someone else wants to know about the feast:

http://harrisonburg.craigslist.org/mis/442394983.html

Guava jelly and Blue Mountain coffee are from Jamaica, so this must be from the Caribbean lady

I believe "that girl" is this girl: http://icymidnight.com/bseeingu/craigslist/archive/441799438.html

Looks like it. It was sort of implied by DC's e-mail:

Hrm so as the Dreamers have pointed out, the "bseeingu" trick is kind of known at the moment, so apparently they have been posting CLs without our favorite search device. We should start checking the cities we know:

http://stockholm.craigslist.org/mis/440989726.html

http://caribbean.craigslist.org/mis/442080829.html

What else?

EDIT: the Dreamers are real chatty today:

Should we all stake claims as to who is going to check which areas of CL now that they're beginning to lack the bseeingu tag?

Ugh. I had hoped this wouldn't happen. Reading random craigslists makes me feel like crap, seeing all the desperate, lonely people out there. Well, besides the Cthulhu cultists wanting to usher in the apocalypse just because they need to feel like they belong to something larger than themselves.

(Not actual quotes)
"Hi, you're hot. You don't know me. Let's have sex."
"I wanted to say I love you, but anonymously, y'know to avoid *actually* saying it to you in a way where I would risk rejection."
"I thought my cheesy pickup line worked. Why won't you call me?!"
"I believe that posting chain letters will help me better my pitiful existence, instead of just annoying strangers and friends."
"The person working here is really sexy. Hey creepy people on the internet, go stalk her!"
"I'm sorry. But not really, because I'm not saying it to your face, or associating it with you in any significant way."
"But I thought my physical prowess would make up for any lack of compassion I showed to you! Call me."
"I don't know if you check craigslist, but I feel like I just lost my one and only chance at true happiness."

It's enough to make me miss the days when BA posted.

Another hit: RE: About the feast Probably from the swedish lady. EHS is probably a reference to Electrical hypersensitivity. If the other dreamers are also suffering from adverse effects of being around machines & it's not just BA, then we can probably guess that it's Lucky5.

Maybe we could put together some sort of a vaguer search and then quality check it manually? Do a search in missed connections for the names and codewords we know plus things like "scream" "feast" "dream" "city" and stuff like that. The signal to noise ratio would probably be pretty low, but we'd be able to cut out a lot of the more unlikely posts and then go from there.
