I noticed in the past couple of posts from the Dreamers on Craigslist that they both mentioned "WV Solitude," which made me curious.
So I search around and found a website:
http://wvsolitude.com/
From the meta description:

| WV Solitude is a collaborative map of the quiet beautiful places hidden among the mountains of Eastern West Virginia, far from the noise and bustle of modern life. Sometimes, getting only one radio station can be a good thing. |
I *really* think that the people going to West Virginia should check this out!! |

I've compiled all of the comments (from the map and the comments below) with some sort of directions for most of the locations.

There's a "Stuart" that posts there a lot. It's not that common a name. Could our old friend StuR been interested in the quiet places of WV, despite his decidedly anti-Luddite tendencies? There aren't any dates attached to the comments, so I have no idea if those were posted a long time ago, or even within the last month. So, is he dense enough to keep the same first name while in hiding, was this an interest of his before he died, or is this just a crazy coincidence?
Other points of interest (by no means complete):
There's apparently a screaming jenny haunting the Abandoned Gauley Line.
Big Mountain Lookout has an old "Outpost".
Brandywine Lake had a "surprising number of people" for a "special event". Sounds ominous to me.
Cass Railroad: "Actually, not true. Emmet showed me a path up from Snowshoe. Granted, not an easy hike, but I'd rather get exercise than ride a smokey train." Exu's Emmet?
Hilltop Gem: Misunderstanding about cabin location, or *hidden* cabin?
Edit: They seem to know the area pretty well, so I added Taylor Run to the site, along with a leading comment to try and get them to talk about what they think happened there in 1999. _________________ "Some humans would do almost anything to see if it was possible to do it. DC's Emmet, you mean. From the way he's described, he seems to be a loca expert of some sort.
Another thing that caught my eye was the mention of Screaming Jenny at the Abandoned Gauley Line by long timer, what with how Exu mentioned her and all. _________________ WHO IS SAINT FENLINE?

Analysis: While this website has not shows any overt signs of infection by the Lucky5 malware, and does not appear to be directly related to the Chorazos Hacking Ring, it does appear to have some loose and possibly circumstantial relation to one B.A. Saint-Feline, As well as Devon Conrad, The Orlando Dreamers, and possibly the unknown entity known as "The Hidden" as mentioned by Devon Conrad in one of the first correspondances in which he directly addressed The New Sentries. Below includes a number of possible references to groups and / or individuals of whom we have little or no additional information on, and may constitute enough of a connection warrant further investigation:
Emmet
Emmet is referred to many times throughout the postings on this site, and appears to be one who is considered wise, and who these individuals see as an elder or leader among them, as evidenced by the following comments:
Abandoned Gauley Line
""A nice place until Screaming Jenny comes for you one evening. There's a reason Emmet tells you folks to stay away from there." - long timer
Big Mountain Lookout
"That's one of the outposts Emmet told me about back in '75. Didn't know they still even use it."- old timer
Cass Railroad State Park
"Actually, not true. Emmet showed me a path up from Snowshoe. Granted, not an easy hike, but I'd rather get exercise than ride a smokey train."- stuart
Droop Mountain Battlefield
"Don't let the state park fool you. This place is haunted by headless soldiers and spectral horses. It's like Emmet taught you: don't go no where you ain't prepared for."- old timer
Furbin and Greenbrier Valley railroad
"Do it, Karen. They only really run that kind of stuff for you hiders. Emmet told me it's some of the best sleep you can find."- long timer
Great View
"The lookout cabin is alot less busier in the fall when it starts getting chill. Emmet told me it was a fairly safe place to sleep, but I saw bears there once."- Stuart
Meck?s home Bakery
"I was eating one of Karen's cinnamon rolls when Emmet strolled in looking for the same thing."- Gary
Sleep (Quality of)
B.A. Saint-Feline and the Orlando Dreamers often make references to sleep, and dreams, and the city in which they exist beyond their dreams. This may or may not be related, however this site makes a large number of references to sleeping and / or the quality of sleep to be had in certain locations
Cass Railroad State Park
"Despite the smoke and cinders, I've never felt more rested. The whip up a fair meal in the Last Run Restaurant as well."- old timer
Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad
"Do it, Karen. They only really run that kind of stuff for you hiders. Emmet told me it's some of the best sleep you can find."- long timer
Great View
"The lookout cabin is alot less busier in the fall when it starts getting chill. Emmet told me it was a fairly safe place to sleep, but I saw bears there once."- Stuart
Greenbrier River Cabins
"Nice cabins, no need to hike to get to. Strange sounds from Cranberry, but I still sleep good."- Petri
Hilltop Gem
"This was my first cabin in WV. Lots of people rent it out, though, so it's hard to get for any length. I've never slept better, though.}- Gail
Jerico Bed & Breakfast
"Nice Civil War cabins for rent. See one ghost. Did not sleep well."- Petri
Old Clark Inn
"High speed Internet access means not sleep well."- Petri
Spruce Knob Lookout
"There's a radio tower not too far down the trail. You can hear it humming and buzzing, I couldn't sleep at all."- Gail
Miscellanious Connections
The following comments stand out as being loose connections to the writings of BA Saint-Feline and other potentially related items (such as computers / the web). These (as with all of the items listed above) could easily be a coincidence.
The Greebrier Hotel
"I could stand being around there, I think there's just too much computer junk in the basement, I could hear it all running all night."- melissa
Triple Sixes
"Six miles from Cass on Route 66, around the hairpin turn, sometimes I catch an echo of the hum.- old timer

I may need to look into some of the places these people are talking about, or find some similar ones nearby. The lightbulbs are starting to bother me terribly, I get this freaky high-pitched ringing from incandescent ones, and others are a mosquito-like buzzing. It's bugging me to no end... And this whole situation isn't helping...

So after reading the websites on the Hum and the WV Solitude it seems to me that the people who talk so much about the lack of/quality of sleep may be people suffering from The Hum(sounds like a bad Stephen King book) How this factors into our other investigations I don't know though... |

from what I can see, the hum comes from any type of electrical equipment. This links them to the dreamers and BA who can't stand to be around said equipment. That's how they're connected. _________________ "We dream of her dreaming of Emmet dreaming of her. " -Devon Conrad |

DC mentioned the hidden in his e-mail - "you will be here, too, with the Hidden and the Dreamers." Could long timer be referencing them here? The Castaway Caboose seems to be a service where you take the train out to the wilderness, sleep overnight there, and then come back. I can see why the Dreamers would like it, but it doesn't really cast any light on the Hidden.
The train connection makes me think of Screaming Jenny and Karen was also interested in the Cass Railroad State Park but I got nothing more than that. Might be a lead. _________________ WHO IS SAINT FENLINE?

That's sort of what the comment suggests, but then what makes them different from the dreamers, who are also suffering adverse effects from technology? Maybe the hidden are a subcategory of the dreamers, the one who have progressed far enough that they can't stand technology anymore and have to hide in the woods. Or maybe they're people who suffer from the same technology allergy as the Dreamers but don't dream. Or maybe they're people who like trains and have a nonsequitor label. I don't think it's that last one though. _________________ WHO IS SAINT FENLINE?
