I got this in my inbox yesterday afternoon
From: Foresight Property Management Arrangements <arrangementsSPLATforesightpropertymanagement.com>
Subject: Reservation Ticket (#200710-187)
| Quote: |
Dear Mr./Ms. Providence,
This email is to confirm that your new reservation ticket (#200710-187) is now active: billing has already been handled by an existing account holder. We look forward to welcoming you and your companions personally as new patrons. Currently our staff is seeking the best property in the Eastern West Virginia area for October 26th through 28th to meet your special health needs.
Several of our properties in that area could have additional cots brought in to provide comfortable sleeping for up to 8, but if your group could be larger than that you might want to make contingencies for additional bedding or air mattresses. Please advise if the severity of the sensitivity of your group requires the removal televisions and telephones and we will do our best to prepare the property according to your needs.
Just as we value your privacy, we also value the privacy of our property owners. Our deepest apologies that the exact details of your accommodations won’t be provided until closer to your departure date.
Thank you for using Foresight Property Management for your therapeutic retreat needs, and we hope the tranquil mountains of West Virginia provide the soothing tranquility you and your friends are seeking.

Was this from any of you guys?
I didn't make any reservations in West Virginia. |

Good point UQ.
The reservations appear to be for all of us (Providence).
I think we need to figure out who can go.
And if we should go at all.
And if some of us can make it, we need to either fill out the form on the website http://foresightpropertymanagement.com or e-mail them back so they know how many "companions" are going.
[and we should request No TVs, No Radios, and maybe call BA and leave her a message with details]
I don't know what this is about, but it might be necessary.

Based on the e-mail from DC, I have a gut feeling BA may already be there. Just a hunch, it seems like the ideal place for her to flee to. _________________ "A sword by itself rules nothing. It only comes alive in skilled hands." |

anyone else noting the play on words with "foresight" property management?
Either this is a clue, or someone has a really weird sense of humor.
But I have a very strong suspision that this is connected to the DC e-mail
and also *cough* ROADTRIP (needed to be done) _________________ Avatar from the Girl Genius Comic |

Some observations about Foresight's site:
The following phrase is repeated, indicating that it may be significant: "You'll start to believe that what we knew what you wanted before even you did."
There is a finger in the logo.
Relevant info? Probably not, but what the hell! |

There's something wrong with the syntax of the quote. The first "what" doesn't seem to be necessary...simple mistake on their part, or intentional? _________________ I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.

Won't be able to make it. Regardless, this reeks of suspicion, like a chance for our enemies to round up the new sentries in one place for the slaughterhouse. This sounds like BA's doing, as mentioned above. With the mention of thousands of buyers/seller with "unusual" needs, it smells like this company was used by the conclave to set up meetings. It is an incredible opportunity to confront at least one of these factions face-to-face, and I'm not saying don't go, just...be careful, keep your wits about you, and be prepared for a trap. _________________ "Some humans would do almost anything to see if it was possible to do it. I won't be able to make it either, due to distance and prior commitments (more the former than the latter; since I could probably make the necessary travel arrangements out to the east coast)... If this is some kind of plot to wipe us out, tho, at least they won't be able to get us all in one swoop. Be careful, guys. _________________ "A sword by itself rules nothing. What's WV's laws on gun permits...Hmmm...*goes off to find out*
/Not too sure how well a gun would work against having my mind melted, but I might be able to take the attacker with me.

Yea, and why exactly should people be eager to take this mysterious company up on their "generous offer?"
Seems suspicious to me. |

Hmmm Eastern West Virginia, eh? Pretty close to me. Unfortunately class will be getting in the way.
