Goddammit. I'm really starting to take all this personally.
As far as the "WTF PICKLES" angle: it wouldn't take much to find out what a person's sensitive to, and introduce it into their environment to make murder look like an accident. Why make it look that way after Jen's murder, I don't know, but there are stranger things than that going on.
People getting killed over happenings that ought to be just in seventy-five year old horror fiction, for one. |

I've long suspected this (your angle gives it more weight), but I've always felt that Bryce's psychosis and Kevin's suacide are not what they first appeared to be. If you can slip a pickle in Stu's sandwich, how hard would it be to drug Bryce's Mountain Dew (why didn't they kill Bryce, though? Makes me think botched poisoning), or stage Kevin's suacide?
Which is more likely, mystic cult of obsessed psychopath?

He didn't deserve that. 
I know a lot of terrible, terrible events have been happening around here, and Stu was right in the thick of investigation, but a pickle assassination just seems to strain credulity. We'll get the bastards who did this to you. Even if it means simply burning the goddamn Quizno's down.
