Sapagoo, was the "man on the grassy knoll" today. He apparently found some freaky shit (although no access to camera = no pictures). I'm just posting to let people know he made it out okay and that he'll probably post a much more detailed description than I can (since he was actually there!).

*sidtheduck waits for Sapagoo's triumphant return and forthcoming post.

I'm on the edge of my seat here!

Phase 1 - Preparation
we had a combination (fourteen, twenty four, fifteen),
a security code *986106#
a location Public Storage on McElroy Rd in Doraville, GA
and a room code F 858

I took phone #'s for j5 and Sid, a notepad (since I didn't bring my camera with me to work today) and my handy dandy cell phone.

Phase 2 - Location
I drove down to Doraville, found McElroy Rd, and followed it to the Public Storage.
I entered the security code - worked like a champ.
Found building F ( was momentarily lost looking for 585, and then looked at the notepad, and found it was 858.)
Room 858 was not your standard garage sized room, it was in a inside hallway, about 5ft x 5ft. It was dark, at this point, I called in, so that everyone knew that if I didn't come back, that THEY got me.

Phase 3 - storage room.
The combination lock was on the floor. I opened the door, and there was a black drape immediately, blocking all light into the room. I could tell it was small, and I peeked in. I saw the hand, feathers, and a harddrive on the floor. I exited the hallway, waited until I got bars on my cell phone, and checked in again, passing along the information for my next of kin.

When I went back, I immediately saw the harddrive on the floor, and a boarding pass for Arthur Lyndon on NWA. I took notes, since I didn't have a camera. In the middle, there was a small platform, about 2ftx2ftx1ft high, black with clear panels. On it was a large disc, like a 2 ft CD - mirrored with writing (might be the same writing as on the Hard Drive, I can't be sure). On the thin disc was PC painted bright yellow, with a hole in the middle, like the harddrive had escaped, or exploded out, with a few wires exposed. On the top of the PC tower was a hand - missing a finger - greenish/blackish, pointing up. Feathers were on the hand, a few on the floor, one even made it's way outside the room. There were glowsticks under the platform, and in the corners of the room.

There were also 3 shrouded "figures" that looked about 4-5 feet tall, in the 3 corners of the room opposite the door. They appeared to have electronic components in them, but I did not get a good look. There were definitely shrouded in black to look like figures.

At this point, I left the room to make my report. After calling j5 and describing everything I saw, I went back to get better looks at the disc, the shrouded figures, the PC, and the boarding pass. I was also going to lock the room back with the combination lock, in case anyone else wanted to make the trek. However, the hallway was fully lit. The lights are motion activated. Someone had entered while I was away and locked the door with the standard PublicStorage padlocks. I was unable to re-inspect the room. I've got the Harddrive, and hopefully that's all we need.

I stopped by the front desk to see if it's their policy to lock unattended rooms, and he said that he had not locked any storage rooms recently.

The hard drive has yellow stickers on it, with the elder symbol (5 pointed star), surrounded by a circle. The circle has the 4 phases of the moon, and there is freeform arabic text weaving in and out in an amoeba shape around the circle.

Which begs the question, ART - where are you now. What are/were you doing in Atlanta. You should have told us. You and I could have had lunch. Are you okay?

I say burn it. Burn it, bury it, throw it in a lake. My Superstitious Mick-Sense is tingling, and it says to have nothing more to do with that thing.

So I guess the question is...
If Art was there, why did he leave the HD? Or did the HD launch out of the box and clonk him in the head, leaving him vulnerable to abduction?

ETA: great work Sapagoo!

Mr. Camacho was Alan, aka PoliticalTexan, according to Howard, I think.

w00t! Nice sleuthing, Sapagoo! Glad you came back in one piece! Now, to see what's on the HD . . . or do we burn it like Jimmy suggests?!?!? Confused

I have absolutely no illusions as to what is going to happen with this disk; I just felt like the suggestion would have been the elephant on the sofa if I didn't put it out there.

OMG, one busy morning when I can't check in and everything goes nuts. Great work Sapagoo! I'm glad you got back safe and sound though...the whole experience sounds terrifying, especially with everything that's done on in the last day. So what was Art doing there? Why did they have the angel's hand? Did you happen to get some pics with your phone? Too many questions and I'm so busy at work! Mad

EDIT... Call me crazy, but I'd hook that hard drive up ASAP and see what we have running on the damn thing.

First off, nice work getting in there and getting the drive. Hopefully its chock full of useful information.

Well, I guess now we know where the finger came from...

Well, this confirms that whoever is behind all this is watching this forum and either lives in Atlanta, or has contacts there (who else would want to lock us out?). You know, it's probably a Good Thing that said person showed up after you left the room (who knows what these people are capable of). You didn't, by chance, see anybody suspicious lurking about while you were there, did you?

Not sure what to think of the boarding pass... Does this implicate Art, or is it just something that was placed there to feed on our existing suspicions (after all, how hard is it to fake a boarding pass)? I'm half leaning toward the latter, since one can make the argument that whoever set this up potentially knew we were coming... And has been monitoring the forum for some time. The more time we spend arguing amongst ourselves, the longer it takes to get to the bottom of this... And I have the sinking feeling we are running out of time.

Sounds like FUD to me. If it were Art, would he REALLY be dumb enough to leave behind a boarding pass? But maybe he knows we'd think that.

Hopefully we won't fall victim to one of the classic blunders.

Another thought: Perhaps it *is* his boarding pass, and someone stole it in order to work some sort of nastiness on him?
