I don't know if Stu was planning on posting this himself -- given the recriminations floating around here recently, I wouldn't be surprised if he avoided this place like the plague -- but it looks like he's actually been doing what others only talked about: hunting down the hackers.

I posted to another thread but should add it here. My Windows machine here at home seems to already have had Lucky 5 installed on it. I would have remembered seeing those install screens, but Stu seems to imply (in a Hunter S. Thompson way) that it was bundled with pirated software in a way that installed it in the background as part of some other installation process?
We have to at least consider the idea that the "server infections" are another vector for spreading the parasiteware. Hard to narrow it down further than that, I didn't really keep track of everything I've done on this machine this year to be definitive.
