This is a call for dream submissions and the subsequent Craigslist post.

I'm thinking that if we can establish a cause/effect pattern we can tailor our dream submissions to elicit a predetermined outcome.....which we haven't predetermined yet. Confused

If you aren't comfortable submitting your own dream, make one up or steal a friend's Twisted Evil

This also begs for Wikification. Can anyone assist with that? I set up the page, herebut but I'm not sure how we should format it.

If you aren't comfortable working in that medium, post in this thread to be included in the Wiki.

I actually had an interesting one last night. I'll call it in.

On another note, whenever I see a post from you, I have a hard time imagining anything but Biff Tannen sitting in front of a computer. So why don't you make like a tree, and get outta here? Very Happy

I was going to reply with something from the grail but nothing funny popped out at me, so I won't. Razz

I like Biff's idea. It would be interesting to see exactly how close the correlations are.

I left my dream on BA's voicemail and on the wiki page.

This is a great idea Biff!

Thanks for setting it up. I'll add my dream to it just as soon as I finish reading through all the messages here. Smile

I like this idea a lot... I ironically have been having a really bizarre dream as of late that involves a girl who's name I don't know, myself, a party, and cats of all things (although I am obviously obsessed with animals and they are often part of my dreams as you can probably guess from my name...) but my dreams have always been very bizarre and eerily enough have occasionally been warnings of things that actually end up happening later on in my life (although that has only happened twice thank god)... I know this one isn't exactly a warning but the fact that I had it bothers me because of it's random nature... if you want to know more about it I posted it on the Wiki...

I probably won't call it in because it stopped years ago (and I already called one in), but I used to have a recurring dream that I always thought was kind of funny.

I always wondered if it had some meaning, but I doubt it. I had the dream about once a week from the time I was around ten-years-old up until I was about thirteen, I think:

It began as a very short dream (only a couple of seconds). I was standing inside a dark (as in, no lights on) house at the front door. The door was closed behind me.

Each time the dream got a little bit longer. I'd look to my right. I could see into a dining room area where many family members were sitting around the table playing cards. The light above their table was the only one on in the house.

Then I started walking. Each time I had the dream it was only a few steps more. Through the room I was standing in. Turning away from the family around the table. Walking down a hall. Walking into a bedroom. Walking toward a closed closet door in the bedroom.

Then reaching for the door handle. Turning it.

Finally one night, I opened the door.

A cousin of mine (one I hung out with regularly) jumped out of the closet and yelled "BOO!" Then he laughed.

I never had the dream again.

Three years so my cousin could play a lame trick on me..... a trick he never even actually played.

Whoa! You kinda freaked me out a bit, Aisforapple! Look at my dream on the wiki, it sounds very similar to yours. I've never had a dream like this one before. It's especially weird that I go from the suburbs to a big city, much like New York! And I haven't even been reading anything remotely connected to this whole B A St. Feline mystery lately!

I'm scared to see if any craigslist posting shows up with my dream in it Shocked

I went ahead and left another one for BA (one of my own, this time, Howard). I played a little with it and stuck it in one of her previous scenes - that one with the wall with the names and the "For a good time call," which cracked me up. Bathroom walls are awesome places to see a glimmer of humanity, man. Little messages to strangers. Invitations to play, party, and partake. They're slices of life, immortalized on the shiny, oil-based paint covered metal dividers. Trapped audiences paired with trapped souls transmitting through scribbles, both reaching out for a little connection. Beautiful stuff. The same post mentions "chorazos" which is ringing a bell somewhere in my brain chasm. I swear I've been to something put on by a group of people calling themselves that. There's a shitload to be said for ecstatic ritual - nothing else comes close to the feeling of total freedom. But I've been to so many late-night hooptie dances in the forest/cave/basement, I can't tell one from another (a situation not at all aided by the involvement of drinking/eating/swallowing things in order to play with the natives) - I mean, there was the one with the blood heads, one of them had some sort of giant bonfire, another with what I think was some sort of rodent worship - shit, I might have been half-way to Hale Bopp and I wouldn't have known unless I woke up the next morning donning a shiny new pair of Nikes and a Kool-Aid hangover Shocked

So anyhow, I dream bits and pieces of these memories, and BA gets one of them tonight next to her wailing wall Wink

Ah, how the indiscretions of our youth may come back to haunt us. You've been worshipping at altars you can't remember? Invoking a few gods perhaps while stumbling in the shadows? Not that we all haven't had moments like that, of course, but it's a little curious considering the current circumstances here.

I had a dream about my beloved white cat and a broken bone over the weekend, so I left a dream message with BA in his honor.

Dream submissions or writer's workshop?
That's some heavy imagery. GetMeOut: Seek a publisher. Razz

I'm waiting for the train going in a tunnel dream submission...
Whatever could it mean?

By the way: Chorazos cult

Unless you were, you know, playing cards
