I'm not convinced yet that it is simply a matter of "more is better." I think she needs specific things to happen in the dreams we send, so that she can accomplish whatever it is that will get her closer to 'the truth' (whatever that may be). So far, most of the details she's incorporated from people's dreams seem to be incidental images, etc. I'm trying to figure out if there is any more specific utility in manipulating the objects in the dreamworld like the ribbon, etc... |
I think in her dreams her main objective is to fix the angel statue. Beyond that we can't be sure of what she could do inside that apocalyptic setting of hers.
Now, we can affect her setting with the MUD and calling in with our dreams. However, we can't affect her directly, just the things around her. So we need to add elements she can use to lead her to the angel and that will help her fix it. I suggest we use the mud to guide her(lets add signals, maps, etc) and the dreams to get her the "glue" (lets dream of cement, a sculptor, crazy glue, etc).
Beyond that the question remains about her partner, the narrator of the MUD, the guy that walks with her on that setting. Should we try to get them together? should we try to find him? _________________ Watch for the stars and fear the day when they announce their return. |

I posted this in an earlier discussion:
| Quote: |
| Quote: |
1596: The Oaks is burned down by angry villagers, and the few survivors of the Chorazos Cult (including their founder) retreat to Scotland. Soon after this, however, the locals in their new area destroy the sect once and for all following a number of disappearances.
1638: Hendrik van der Heyl emigrates to New-Netherland (later New York).
c. 1760: The van der Heyls build a family home near Attica, New York, around which the village of Chorazin grows.
November 12 1935. A powerful wind-storm results in the collapse of the van der Heyl mansion. A local from Chorazin discovers a diary that once belonged to Alonzo Typer in the wreckage. |
Maybe some remnants of the Chorazo cult managed to flee and keep a low profile until escaping to the colonies. That would give a link right through to (relatively) modern day, NY state. |
The story of what might be a surviving Chorazos cult in NY state (The Diary of Alonzo Typer) includes this:
| Quote: |
Just behind the village, and in sight of the van der Heyl house, is a steep hill crowned with a peculiar ring of ancient standing stones which the Iroquois always regarded with fear and loathing. The origin and nature of the stones, whose date, according to archeological and climatalogical evidence, must be fabulously early, is a problem still unsolved.
From about 1795 onward, the legends of the incoming pioneers and later population have much to say about strange cries and chants proceeding at certain seaons from Chorazin and from the great house and hill of standing stones; though there is reason to suppose that the noises ceased about 1872, when the entire van der Heyl household - servants and all - suddenly and simultaneously disappeared. |
That sounds similar to the Mexico City CL post:
| Quote: |
| I snap myself out of it but it's too late. I'm at the edge of the city. In an area that I do not know. I've never been here before. I've never seen this. There are stones standing in the ground. They're covered with ancient carvings. One of them is knocked down. People were here. Recently. I can see the footprints. |

............ she's responding to my dreams in exactly the way I was hoping at long last... I've been trying to use my seemingly good ability of lucid dreaming to manipulate objects in her world and inextricably link her dreamworld with mine in the hopes of getting us someplace... and it's starting to work very well...
I saved the text of all of the dreams I've submitted since the last CL's on Wednesday and I'll post them on here in a minute once I dig them up from my hard drive so you can see what I"m talking about... quite literally almost all of the stuff she's doing now is related to what I've been dreaming up with a few key details changed that I think are slowly bringing this story of the angel to a conclusion that we're seeking... I think I know what she wants me to do for her in dreamland and if what I'm thinking turns out right then we may have some answers here soon... particularly since I think I'm standing right next to her right now in her dreamscape... I'll update the Wiki with my dreams in a minute and you'll see what I'm talking about... now if only I could go to sleep now and have a new dream... |

The Harrisonburg post definitely contains elements from the 'dream' I submitted ( http://www.sentryoutpost.com/wiki/index.php?title=Dream_Correlation ).
Some things are changed, though. BA brings the finger, rather than me giving it to her. She does wrap the ribbon around it and she offers it to the angel, though. So even though I made myself an 'active' participant in the dream, in BAs dreamworld I am more of a silent obsever (I'm assuming I'm the "you" that she is addressing).
Providence has apparently escaped, too, just like I dreamed.
Finally, it's interesting that the very next CL is from Chicago, which is where I'm from.
So that's 12 -- it seems like we're missing one. |

To add to your dream in my own dream Providence disappeared as well but I had one different detail from yours... when he disappeared his collar was left on the ground and when I picked it up it turned into a ring with the same inscription on it which I put on...
Kind of scary that we actually dreamed about the same thing in some respects... lol... I have to pick these ones apart because each of them has stuff I called in and dreamt...
Also the Al-maj part was the beginning of the Arabic chant that I quoted in my dream repeatedly to get another clue as to my dream... so much to deal with... |

Do we want to? A several points "You" has been downright menacing. We might want to do the opposite, ensure that whatever it is can't threaten BA anymore.
A question this group of postings raises: We've been getting a new group of Craigslist postings every three days. Yet in the Flint craigslist post she says
| BA wrote: |
There's nothing that I can do but watch. It's not fair. It's not right.
One night.
That's all I ask.
One night that I don't have to see this. That I don't have to feel this. |
Which is to say that she dreams of the chaotic city* every night, not every one out of three. Are there two more days that she's not posting? Does she only sleep every three days? We still know so little about Ms. Feline...
*Have we come up with a name for the place she goes? It might be usefull, just for easy reference. |

As for her referencing that I can easily explain that as her quoting exactly what I've been saying to her... since I started having dreams every night about this and I was trying to empathize with her problems I started mentioning many times that I wished that the both of us could have just one night where we didn't have to deal with all of this... one night of complete peace with no crazy dreams... strange thing is last night I didn't have one and I slept all night for the first time all week... although with all of this new stuff I'm sure another will appear tonight... |

Interestingly, the Oneida's (one of the six Iroquois Nations) name, Onyota'a:ka means "People of the Standing Stone." |

Being able to influence her world is great - maybe we should all carry some of the things she mentions - purple ribbons, coins, tarot cards, rope. _________________ Servers aren't part of the collective unconscious. ~HPHack

The saskatoon entry includes something I sent her in a dream:
| Quote: |
| She reaches down and pulls an iris out of her bag. |
I have created this in the MUD, I'll leave it by the fence. I hope thats ok! |
